IFS launches Trading Simulator for Singapore Futures Exchange

IFS is now operating a version of it’s popular trading simulator for Singapore Futures Exchange. The SGX Trading Simulator allows users to test their skills and knowledge of the futures market with no risk to their capital. Using real-time best bid/offer and trade prices from the live SGX trading system and on-line execution capability, the SGX Trading Simulator is the closest thing to real time trading.

Users start with a fictitious $200,000 in their trading account.

The Trading Simulator has the following features:

  • Configure up to 10 watch lists showing real-time bids/offers/trades, your holding in a contract, average price paid, profit/loss making position indicator etc.

  • Execute market, limit and stop-loss orders (orders are matched against current live SGX prices)

  • View list of working and filled orders

  • View and analyse profit and loss (realised and unrealised) and margin.

The Trading Simulator is using IFS Quaser Exchange simulation and matching engine to match limit and stop loss orders and automatically close out contracts upon expiry.
