IFS develops Probate Calculator Service for London Stock Exchange

IFS was appointed by London Stock Exchange to provide a system to value UK stocks and shares for probate purposes. Working closely with the HM Revenue and Customs department, the resulting service allows users to obtain HM Revenue and Customs approved stock valuation reports and generate those reports as a fully completed Stock amd Shartes form (D7).

The Probate Calculator service offers the following features:

• A step-by-step process to help users select the correct stocks or shares, right through to printing off their D7 in the HM Revenue and Customs approved format.
• Valuations calculated for all stocks, shares, debentures quoted in the Stock Exchange.
• Daily Official List, including any interest or dividends due, with all workings shown.
• Valuations for UK funds including unit trusts and investment trusts.
• Additional sections to freely enter additional stock information and values obtained from a third party source.
