About IFS Overview

Intelligent Financial Systems (IFS) is a London based software company providing a range of real time and historical market data analysis services.

Since the implementation of MiFID in 2007, IFS have developed a suite of services focused on analysing execution quality, transaction costs analysis and pre-trade cost prediction for Europe’s increasingly fragmented equity markets. These services operate using a proprietary multi-terabyte database of full depth order book data covering major European equity Exchanges and MTFs. Since autumn 2009, IFS is offering these services via its LiquidMetrix WorkStation product.

As well as the LiquidMetrix WorkStation, IFS also provide bespoke and independent pre and post trade analysis (European Venue Analysis - EVA) for trading firms wanting to understand and quantify their execution performance, in particular focusing on benefits that clients may get from trading new MTF venues. The EVA service is offered both as a one-off consultancy and as an ongoing service delivered via the ATAS WorkStation.

Over the last 10 years, IFS has developed market data services for financial exchanges such as NYSE Euronext, Liffe, London Stock Exchange, CBOT, CBOE, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Proquote, FTSE International, financial information providers (Dow Jones, Thomson Financial, Morningstar) and a range of other trading organisations.
