Since the implementation of MiFID last year, IFS have developed a suite of services focussed on analysing execution quality, transaction costs analysis and pretrade cost prediction for Europe’s increasingly fragmented equity markets. These services operate using a proprietary multi-Terabyte database of full depth order book data covering all European equity markets. Public services we operate using this technology include NYXTradeCheck and Proquote Best Execution.

IFS also provide bespoke and independent pre and post trade analysis (European Venue Analysis - EVA) for trading firms wanting to understand and quantify their execution performance in particular focussing on benefits they may get from trading new MTF venues.

Over the last 10 years, IFS have also developed public web sites and online subscription services for financial exchanges such as Euronext, Euronext.liffe, London Stock Exchange, CBOT, CBOE, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Proquote and FTSE International, financial information providers (Dow Jones, Thomson Financial, Morningstar) and a range of other trading organisations.
